A piston is a cylindrical engine component that slides back and forth in the cylinder bore by forces produced during the combustion process. The piston acts as a movable end of the combustion chamber. The stationary end of the combustion chamber is the cylinder head. Pistons are commonly made of a cast aluminum alloy for excellent and lightweight thermal conductivity.
Camshaft bushings provide support and flexibility in the proper operation of a vehicle’s braking system .A camshaft bushing may become worn, allowing some non-rotational movement of the camshaft. Pulling on the camshaft by hand generates a combination of lateral and rotational movement and does not provide an accurate assessment of the bushing’s wear.
This is an e valve for the Isuzu FVM and FTR model trucks. Integral to the vehicle’s engine management system, the aptly named exhaust gas recirculation valve, or EGR valve for short, recirculates finely metered quantities of exhaust gas to the engine intake system for increased engine efficiency, reduced fuel consumption and lower NOx emissions.
